***Not
having your French notebook when you get to class, doing work for another class
during French, sleeping, coming in late without a pass, and/or not getting to
work immediately upon entering the room, will all be considered in the
calculation of your participation grade. Your participation is graded daily,
not just the last week of the grading period. Shaping up right before report
card time is not enough to change a whole quarter grade! ***
